I am Savannah Rivera, the photographer behind the lens, and I first realized photography could be a tool for empowerment when people started telling me, "I never like photos of myself, but I love these." As someone who usually hates being in front of the camera, hearing that lets me know I have done my job. My goal is for you to see your photos and finally think, "Yes. That's me, and I love what I see."
I focus on everyday folks who are simply trying to make it through busy, beautiful, complicated lives. I love working with mothers who need a streamlined, stress-free process, women-owned small businesses building their brands, and anyone who has ever said they hate photos of themselves. You deserve images that feel like you and that you're proud to share.
Most people feel uncomfortable in front of the camera, and that discomfort often shows up in their photos. I work hard behind the scenes to change that. I prepare for each session by learning what you're looking for and what matters most to you. During your session, I guide you with simple, natural prompts rather than stiff, awkward posing, and I hype you up throughout the session so you can relax, laugh a little, and feel like the badass you truly are.
My mission is to empower people through photography. I value acceptance, authenticity, and representation, and I bring those values into every step of the process. Before I ever pick up the camera, I ask thoughtful questions to help shape a clear vision and inspiration for your photos.
