Hi there, I’m Savannah, the photographer behind Girasoles Photography, and I’m so happy to say I’m back behind the camera in Derry, New Hampshire. It has been a while since I last posted, and I’ve truly missed working with families, seniors, and event clients.

In late 2024, I started the long process of job hunting. As much as I would love photography to be my full‑time job, that just wasn’t feasible at the time, so I had to step back from running my portrait and event photography business. Once I was hired, life got busy very quickly, and staying consistent with social media and blogging just wasn’t possible.

Even though I wasn’t posting, I never stopped taking photos. Over the last year, I’ve photographed award galas, graduations, dance socials, Pride parades, and many professional headshots. Those events reminded me how much I love empowering people through photography, whether it is documenting a milestone or helping someone feel confident in their portraits.

Now that life is starting to settle, I’m excited to grow Girasoles Photography again and reconnect with my community here in New Hampshire. I’m starting slow with two blog posts a month and sharing recent work on Instagram and Facebook a few times a week. My goal is to build back up to weekly blog posts and more frequent updates while keeping a healthy balance.
