I had SO much fun at this senior session and am excited to finally share it with you all!
Maddy’s mom found my Instagram and had Maddy reach out to schedule a session. We set all the details and were super excited! Let me get into how the session went!

Arrival
We agreed to take the photos at the NH Audubon Massabesic Center, my favorite spot for outdoor photos. I arrived slightly early (as I do) to scope out good spots and to see if we had any competition for space. There was no one there, so we had so much to work with! I met Maddy in the parking lot and she was so bubbly right off the bat! I knew we would get along well and that this would be an awesome senior session.

The Session
We enjoyed chatting, trying different poses and prompts, and capturing Maddy’s spirit! I like to chat with the subject in all sessions to capture who they are. This is especially important in senior sessions because the goal is to capture who you are at this moment in your life, what you like, and your hobbies! I encourage seniors to bring props or something representing things they’ve done, like clubs and sports. Maddy brought her guitar with her, and we got to be creative with that to make some especially creative and dynamic photos!

The After
After the session, I went home and went through the photos immediately. Sometimes, with all sessions, but especially with senior sessions, I go home and am too excited to wait until the next day! Seniors are special to my heart because I was a high school teacher, so it is special to me to celebrate them. As you can see below, there were so many good photos that I had a hard time choosing which photos I wanted to use for this blog!
